KAKAMEGA STARLETS GIRLS SOCCER CLUB
Kakamega Starlets is a girls’ soccer club dedicated to nurturing talent, fostering discipline, and creating pathways for young girls to achieve their dreams of becoming professional soccer players.
We believe in the power of sports to change lives, and we use sports to develop the girl child as well as managing and conserving the environment.
WHAT WE DO?
WE EMPOWER AND SUPPORT YOUNG GIRLS TO ACHIEVE THEIR DREAMS AND FULFILL THEIR POTENTIAL THROUGH:
Education
We believe in the collaborative power of knowledge and talent. All our players receive academic tutoring, values and life skills training to ensure they excel in their studies and personal development. The needy and vulnerable girls are provided with academic scholarships.
Soccer
Regular training sessions with qualified and experienced coaches to develop technical skills, physical fitness, and tactical understanding. The players are also connected with opportunities to showcase their talent through participation in competitive tournaments.
Community Projects
Through partnerships with like-minded organizations and institutions, we engage with local communities through volunteer projects, outreach events, and grassroots initiatives aimed at fostering solidarity and addressing pressing social issues.
Youth Empowerment
Kakamega Starlets provides mentorship programs that pair young people and women with mentors who provide guidance, support, and encouragement as they navigate their personal and professional journeys.
